Project: Our lab has developed a strategy for the synthesis of site-specific crosslinks in high yields and purity. These cross linked molecules will be important in the study of repair of interstrand crosslinks(ICLs). My current project involves developing new synthetic analogs of such molecules which mimic the clinically important nitrogen mustards (NMs).
