Batch Search HelpA batch search allows you to enter multiple protein accession numbers and retrieve the matching protein record(s). The program retrieves a list of the proteins showing their MiGenes status indicating whether they are considered mitochondrial, mito-related, or unrelated (see MitoPostulates), or that the accession number is not recognized. The batchwise search is useful for examining lists of proteins reported in published sequencing studies as well as for checking the mitochondrial status of proteins identified in protein sequencing experiments. The result for each entry provides a link to the protein detail information page as shown below. You have the option of downloading the output as a comma-delimited list that can be imported directly into Excel. The batch search also provides a function to search protein information by using nucleotide identifiers, such as locuslink id numbers. Since the collection of nucleotide accession numbers is very long, the Program requests that you limit the search to a particular organism to shorten search time. Long lists will require some time to process, so you should refresh the display occasionally. Note that nucleotide accession numbers may be linked to multiple protein records. Batchwise Search Accepts the following format of ID/name: A. Batchwise Protein Search: 1. RefSeq protein accession numbers, for exampe: NP_006105 2. RefSeq mRNA accession numbers, for example: NM_026310 3. Uniprot accession numbers, for exmample: Q7TQD6, PROP_MOUSE 4. DDBJ/EMBL protein record , for example: BAA06332/AAA20683 5.
