Please note only authenticated curators may perform curation on MiGenes.

This module not only collects annotation, but also updates mito status according to the annotation.
The following features relate to the curation process:
1. "with" column is added to collect more information that provides the basis for the curation
2.  negate GO:0005739 with strong evi code will demote a protein status to "Not Related" no matter what public annotation the protein has.
3.  negate GO:0005739 with weak evi code will demote a protein status to "Related" no matter what public annotation the protein has.
4. For a protein that has mito go terms other than GO:0005739, if those mito go terms are negated completely, the protein will become "Related."
5. user input check:
   a. GO ID check. If GO ID is not in the right format or doesn't exit, a warning message will display.
   b. The “with” field is used to hold an additional identifier for annotation using certain evidence codes: IC, IEA, IGI, IPI, ISS. The module will display a warning message if you forget to use this column for those evi codes.
   c. If you decide to give an additional identifier, please provide it for every accession number. Otherwise you will get warning message.
   d. Whenever you see a warning message, the curation has been not saved.
6. If you click other module links or the "log out" button, you automatically log out or curtain mode.
