Opportunities!
We are pleased to announce our 4th Annual Career Planning
Workshop for Physician Scientists at the University of Chicago on
September 26, 2009. These are quite exciting times for
physician-scientists in the field of Internal Medicine and sub-specialties.
As you are well aware, trainees graduating from your program are
looking for opportunities to further their clinical and research
expertise, in order to prepare themselves for successful careers
as physician-scientists. We will be hosting a free workshop on the
University of Chicago Campus on Saturday, September 26, 2009, to
provide information and advice regarding career pathways open to
graduates of MSTPs. A number of our physician-scientist faculty
will be presenting and will be available to offer one-on-one counseling
to any attendee. We feel this workshop will be an excellent opportunity
for your trainees to learn more about post-graduate training options
and hope you will share the attached information with your students.
Feel
free to contact us at 773.702.1747 if you would like any additional
information about this workshop or our graduate training program for
physician scientists at, the Physician Scientist Development Program
(PSDP). Please also find enclosed a brochure
for the upcoming program that you can freely share with your trainees.
With Best Regards,
