Show of Support for MSTP student, Catherine Salussolia
I am raising money for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society as a participant in their Team In Training program. I have participated in the Disney Triathlon in honor of my late neighbor Jesse Michota.
With your donation you will not only be supporting me in my race, but you will also be actively helping in the race for a cure for leukemia, lymphoma and myeloma. But more importantly, your donation brings hope to the patients and families who are on the front lines of the battle against these diseases. To donate online quickly and securely, please click on the above link. You will receive a confirmation by email of your donation and I will be notified as soon as you make your donation. On behalf of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, thank you very much for your support. I really appreciate your generosity! Or you can mail a donation made payable to The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society to me (my address is listed on the website).

Congratulations to Harold H. Bien and his advisor, Emilia Entcheva. Their review article on imaging will be featured in the December issue of Biophotonics International. The editors picked it out of the ocean of imaging publications. The editors wrote:

MSTP SPONSORED EVENTS:

MSTP Fellows organize, although not every year, a one-day research symposium open to all wishing to attend. It focuses on a topic chosen by the students and involved distinguished speakers invited from around the world. Recent speakers included Nobel Laureates, members of the U.S. National Academy of Sciences and many others, including several members of the SUSB community. All MSTP Fellows are invited to lunch and dinner with the speakers.

The MSTP encourages and supports Fellows to attend the annual Clinical Research meeting.
