Physician Scientist Training Pathway (PSTP)

Attached is a brochure about the Physician-Scientist Training Program in Cardiovascular Disease at the University of Virginia. As you know, UVA is an outstanding environment for training in both research and clinical aspects of cardiovascular disease. We offer 2-3 years of protected research time in conjunction with the necessary clinical training for ABIM certification in Internal Medicine and Cardiovascular Medicine. We are particularly pleased to inform you that in conjunction with the Department of Medicine, we also offer the ABIM approved "fast-track" option for those who are committed to careers as Physician-Scientists.
