Prof. Stella Tsirka receives the Faculty Award for Excellence in Diversity and Mentoring.

At the End of the Year Celebration of the Center for Inclusive Education, Prof. Stella Tsirka was presented with the Faculty Award for Excellence in Diversity and Mentoring. Prof. Tsirka was nominated by a group of CIE scholars, faculty and administrators associated with the Molecular and Cellular Pharmacology Graduate Program. She received this award in recognition of her many years of transformative efforts to support student and faculty diversity at Stony Brook and her commitment to student success and outstanding mentorship.
