Graduate Program

Financial Aid

All students are admitted as fully funded Graduate or Research Assistants with an annual stipend of $27,000 (2011-2012), and group health insurance provided as a fringe benefit. Furthermore, all students receive a full tuition scholarship. During the first two years, students are supported by funds derived from a training grant from the National Institutes of Health, from University research assistantships and from Departmental funds. After the second year, students are supported by research grants from individual laboratories. Students are encouraged to apply for fellowships from the National Science Foundation, the National Institutes of Health, the Pharmaceutical Research and Manufacturers Association (PhRMA) or other private foundations.
