  • Biography

I was born and grew up on a beautiful island of China. I received my Bachelor's degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences from Tianjin University in 2014. My undergraduate research was focused on high throughput pharmaceutical analysis. After graduating, I worked in a pharmaceutics lab of Zhejiang University in China for a year as a research assistant. Subsequently, I came to Stony Brook University and obtained my Master’s degree in Biomedical Sciences in 2016. And now I am continuing my doctoral education in Dr. Chia-Hsin (Lori) Chan’s lab. I am interested in cancer metabolism and stemness. Outside of the lab I enjoy travelling, hiking, reading and trying delicious foods.
