  • Biography

After graduating from Stony Brook University with a BS in Biochemistry, I received my MS in Biomedical Sciences from Tufts University School of Medicine. I then attended medical school at Albany Medical College for two years but had a change of heart and decided to pursue scientific research instead. To gain more experience at the bench, I worked in Dr. Vivek Mittal's lab at Weill Cornell Medicine managing the Thoracic Surgery Biobank and studying the tumor microenvironment of lung cancer for two years before entering the Graduate Program of Pharmacolgical Sciences at Stony Brook University. I plan to synthesize my basic science and medical knowledge to pursue a translational project for my graduate career.
