2015 Molecular and Cellular Pharmacology Student Symposium

On a calm, beautiful day over the Long Island Sound, the Molecular and Cellular Pharmacology Graduate Program hosted its annual Research Symposium at Lombardi's in Port Jefferson. After sharing a nice lunch while soaking in the water views, the day started with a student poster session and faculty talks by Profs. Demple, Chung, van der Velden. Fourth year students then presented 5 minute "snapshots" of their research (Congratulations to Himanshu who won the Best Snapshot award!). After a second poster presentation (Congratulations to Alex who won the Best Poster Award!), a second set of talks by Profs. Frohman, Bogenhagen and Sampson closed a day with a really large turnout. Congratulations also go to Joanna, who was the fastest of the first years to adapt to her new surroundings!! Special thanks go to Odalis, Janice, Lynda, Paul, Ray and Saul for their important role in helping make this year's Retreat a success.
