Congratulations to the winners of the 2015 Van der Kloot Awards!

Three students were presented with Van der Kloot Awards during the Symposium. The VdK Award for Research is awarded in recognition of a major scientific achievement to a student who has published a first author paper in the past academic year. This year's award went to Jason Quinones, who published an outstanding manuscript in the PNAS (link:http://www.pnas.org/content/112/28/8602.long). Two more students were presented with VdK awards for Teaching, to recognize their work as TAs for our Pharmacology Undergraduate Program. The two winners were Saul Siller, who gave an outstanding lecture on Drugs of Abuse, and Michael Pulkoski-Gross, who did an excellent job teaching several pharmacology labs.
