The passing of our dear friend and co-worker June Moriarty

It is with a very heavy heart that we inform you all of the passing of our dear friend and co-worker June Moriarty on January 12, 2016. As some of you can remember, during June's employment she certainly was the face of Pharmacology for over 35 years.  She was our party girl, our ski trip coordinator, the candy lady and everyone's friend.  Pharmacology and Stony Brook was her life, and even after leaving the office she always called from time to time and never forgot to send her colleagues birthday cards.  She will certainly be missed by many friends that she acquired during her employment at SBU.  She is survived by her son, daughter-in-law and 5 grandchildren.
