

Graduate Awards 2016
The event was hosted by Charles Taber, Vice Provost for Graduate and Professional Education Dean of the Graduate School and the School of Professional Development and Dennis N. Assanis, Provost and Senior Vice President for Academic Affairs.
Pharmacology received three honors in the event organized by the Graduate School on 5/18/16.
The Molecular and Celllular Pharmacology Graduate Program received the Dean's Award for Excellence and Innovation in Graduate Education. Award was presented by Dr. Michael Frohman, chair of the Department of Pharmacological Sciences and received by Dr. Miguel Garcia-Diaz, graduate program director.
Saul Siller, MD PhD candidate in the Pharmacology Graduate Program, received the Dean's Alumni Association Leadership Award. Award presented by Robert Stafford, Stony Brook Alumni Association.
Luisa Escobar-Hoyos, PhD, received the President's Award to Distinguished Doctoral Students. Award was presented to her by her mentor and PhD advisor, Dr. Kenneth Shroyer, chair of the Pathology Department.
