We offer our congratulations to Dr. Jermel Watkins, PhD (2006, SBU Pharmacology Turner Fellow) who has recently been appointed Chair of the Dept. of Biology at Hampton University following seven years as Faculty Instructor and Molecular Biologist at the Cold Spring Harbor DNA Learning Center. 

The Department of Pharmacology’s summer undergraduate research program hosted 5 outstanding undergraduate students for the summer of 2015.

 The Pharmacology summer undergraduate research program was sponsored by ASPET (American Society for Pharmacology and Experimental Therapeutics), the Department of Pharmacology, and the MSTP (MD/PhD) Program. (http://www.pharm.stonybrook.edu/aspet-undergraduate-research-program).
